米国ジョンズ・ホプキンス大学Sheridan図書館は、米国科学財団（NSF）から2,000万ドル（18億円）の支援を受け、5年間の科学データアーカイビングプロジェクト“Data Conservancy”に取り組むということです。このプロジェクトは、増え続ける科学データの長期保存を支えるインフラを構築し、それを通じて、新しい科学的発見を促すことを目標にしています。
