HighWire Press、Accel-KKR社から投資を受入れ

米スタンフォード大学図書館の運営するHighWire Pressが、投資会社のAccel-KKR社から株式投資を受けることが発表されています。

プレスリリースによると、スタンフォード大学は少数株式を保有し、スタンフォード大学図書館のMichael A. Keller氏は、HighWire Press Inc.の取締役会でスタンフォードの代表を務めるとのことです。また、この提携は、HighWire Pressのインターネットベースの出版に関する取り組みの推進を可能にするものとされています。
